Velour Tracksuits – The New Fashion Trend

Velour tracksuits have become a popular wardrobe essential after celebrities have been spotted out and about in them. It is a style that everyone can follow because they are not as expensive as some of the other items of clothing that most celebrities wear. They make an excellent outfit for the daytime, looking fashionable without you having to put any thought into your outfit, except of course what shoes you are going to wear with it. Women and their daughters both find the trend appealing for many reasons, you might too.

Comfort
Velour is one of the most flexible, light weight and breathable materials that clothes can be made from. Women like this because it makes a change from the restrictive and smart clothes that they wear for work. Children love being able to run around in them, stretch out and not have to worry about zips and buttons.

Colour
You can get velour tracksuits in almost every colour possible. Stick with classic black if you feel you want to keep the outfit fairly toned down. Greys are a nice choice to make as is navy. Young girls love to express their personalities by choosing pinks and purple shades for their tracksuits. If you have two or three tracksuits you can mix and match the colours, going daring with hot pink on the top whilst toning it down with black bottoms.

Quality
Velour used to be associated with poor quality clothing, chavvy and a bit cheap. Now, technology has produced some really good quality velour fabrics. They do not crease, so you don't have to iron them after they have been through the wash. Also, they do not lose their shape after the first wash like many other casual clothes do. No baggy knees when wearing a velour tracksuit! For children, this is ideal as they often wear their tracksuits to play out in so they can be washed repeatedly and the quality will be as high as it was when they were brand new.

If you need any more reasons why velour tracksuits are the fashion style of the moment, you only have to look in the magazines and newspapers. Everyone is wearing a velour tracksuit, but it is not a trend that looks overdone. The style is relaxed, natural and easy, so you don't have to worry if someone else wears the same thing; chances are it will probably be in a total different colour anyway!
