I LOVE this backpack! I bought two of them, one for myself and one for my boyfriend. This is perfect for a day trip on the river kayaking! The only thing that could make it better is if it were waterproof! The side pocket is great for sunscreen (our water bottles are HUGE so they don't fit there!) and bug spray. The middle pocket is perfect for maps and a copy of Canoeing Michigan Rivers: A Comprehensive Guide to 45 Rivers by Jerry Dennis and Craig Date. We can fit all that plus a jacket, first aid kit, waterproof floating flashlight, snacks, important items in protective dry bags or ziplocks, and SO much more! It's not a huge backpack- it just keeps everything organized so well that it seems huge! I will buy this again if I lose mine!

This is a great backpack that I would define as medium in size but large enough to hold everything needed for a 6th grader. I bought it for my niece who loves it as the colors look great toether. It has lots of different storage areas, is very functional and she really likes it.

I ordered 2 of these High Sierra Curve Backpacks for my daughters on July 23. I recieved 2 emails, the first saying I would get them in 3 – 5 business days and the second said I would get them in 1 – 6 business days. Now that I am tracking the order it says they should have come between July 29th – August 3rd. The backpacks still have not come and it has been 28 business days. It's now August 25th. My daughters have to start school soon and they don't have a backpack they can use, their old backpacks are all torn. I tried to buy some nice backpacks. When I checked my Credit Card bill I was still charged $64 dollars. I can not afford to pay for a product I didn't even get. If I pay the $64 dollars for nothing I can't get my daughters any backpacks at all. I'm not sure who to contact because I don't know who the seller is. My previous orders on Amazon.com have worked fine.

Loved the bag, looks just like the picture. Bought this for my 6 year old and did not notice the dimensions. The bag is huge! Better for traveling. The material is lightweight and the bottom is thin. I would recommend for an overnight bag or even a diaper bag.
