They look cute enough out of the box, however after wearing about 1-2 times a week for a month, the insoles started shifting around, creating a sticky weird lump in the bottom of the shoe, then the side part, where the "penny" strap connects tore. The leather is fairly cheap and the manufacturing is not very good. however they are pretty cute and comfortable- however if you want to wear them for more than a season, go for something higher quality.

I've been looking everywhere for a classic navy shoe to wear to work and this one looked so perfect. However, it seems like they've lowered their quality standards at Bass–there is a weird wrinkle in the leather of one shoe. They hurt like crazy–I've had them in shoe stretchers for a couple of weeks now; we'll see how that goes. I like the rubber of the sole, but the heel seems to be hollow hard plastic, because the heel portion is slippery on tile floors and I sound like a pony clip-clopping along. If I can find a shoe repair shop I'll have the heel replaced with a solid rubber one. I've already worn them outside or I would return them. Wish I hadn't gotten them…

I read the reviews on this site and other sites and I was not going to buy these shoes. Then I read a review that suggested that buying your regular size and adding heel cushions will stop the shoe from slipping off the heel of your foot. This really does work! Without the heel cushion, the shoe slips right off my heel. But, with the heel cushions inserted, they add just enough padding to eliminate the slip off problem.

Also, although I usually buy medium width shoes, but I bought a wide in this shoe, because the other sites suggested that the toe area of the shoe was too small. So, with the heel cushions and a width larger than your normal width, these shoes will not only fit, but they'll look lovely too! And they are nicely priced.

I bought them directly from ShoeMall (with free shipping) since they had my correct color and size and Amazon temporarily did not. I bought the black and the brown. The colors shown on the website match the actual color of the shoes. The mock-snake skin colors are a little too flashy for my taste. But, the black and brown are versatile enough for the weekend with jeans or the office with slacks. The shoes are also very comfortable and have a nice thick insole with arch support.

I ordered my usual size and they were so big that I returned them and ordered a half size smaller; they were way too small!!! This is a really sharp looking shoe, but as I've since read on other sites it does not seem to be made to fit anyones feet!

I bought this to replace a similiar Mootsie Tootsie "Patsy" shoe. (Sister's dog thought it was tasty). Good overall, but I don't get a good grip around the heel so I feel like I am walking out of them. Else okay.
