i got these in both the blue and the black suede, and i love them both! These heels are five inches but the platform is at least an inch, so they feel like four inch heels. Granted, that might still be a bit much for the uninitiated, but i'd recommend looking more closely at the platform itself: There is a definate thinning of the platform towards the toes, while the platform is thicker towards the rear of the ball of your foot. This helps your feet to sort of "roll along" as you walk along, and imho, it is a very big improvement in design.

So, you can always get a gel insert to make these even more comfy, but, you might find they're o.k. without it. i usually do use a gel insert, just because i like things to be as comfy as possible.

Anyway, these pumps are very sophisticated and sexi, and they look fabulous with so much. i love the rounded toe, and both my black pair and my blue pair are great to wear with jeans. My black pair looks great with both blue denim and black leather miniskirts, and the list goes on.

These are great shoes, i find them to be a great addition to my wardrobe.

I just received these in the black patent, and I love them! Super stylish, and I love the tall, super thin stiletto. These shoes look like they could easily cost $500 or more, and people have actually asked me if they were by a few different luxury designers.

Don't let the 5 inch heel fool you – with the platform in the bed they are closer to 4 inches, so they aren't difficult to walk in if you are accustomed to stilettos.

I am disappointed that they are not real leather. Usually Steve Madden shoes are real leather, and he only uses faux leather for his "Madden Girl" line, so I was suprised to see that they are synthetic.

One thing I love about Steve Madden is that his sizes are very consistent. You won't vary in size in sandals, boots, etc. and these are no different. I am an exact size 8, so I was able to order these shoes without needing to try them on in a store.

HOWEVER, I just wore them out for the first time and the black patent finish flaked off in several places! Small bits, and easy enough to touch up with a Sharpie, but I've never had this happen before. And it certainly shouldn't happen with a quality pair of shoes.

It's unfortunate that they are poorly made – they are so beautiful! And I would actually still recommend purchasing them, just not in the patent leather. I hope you have better luck with them than I did!

I received this in the natural snake print yesterday and I'm absolutely in love! This is such a georgeous shoe and what is suprising, is that it is super comfortable. It is also true to size. I only have great things to say about this shoe, the color, fit and comfort level are all great!

I just go this shoe in the mail yesterday from AMAZON. Out of all the shoes I have ever ordered of this site, these by far were the BEST. I got this shoe at the amazing price 31.99 and only 8.99 to ship them to me in two days. They said that they had some minor defects, but I saw nonthing at all wrong with them. They were great, they had never been worn completly brand new. Right now they are still 89.99 in all the stores, and I just can not belive I got them 31.99. THANKS AMAZON!

I love these shoes a great bargain at this price. This is my first pair of Pleaser shoes and after reading reviews on these shoes I ordered the size I would normally order for a shoe in this price category. They fit perfectly and feel so good on my feet. I think I could stand in them all day long. Walking in them is well like walking in a shoe with a 5" heel, they are comfortable but I will not run any races in them. I will be buying more shoes by Pleaser.

Amazon Prime is fantastic. I ordered these shoes on Thursday afternoon and had them on Friday morning, less than 24 hours. If you are not an Amazon Prime member I suggest you sign up if you buy much at all on Amazon.

I ordered this one in the black velvet…beautiful, and packaged in nice protective fabric sleeves. The velvet is actually fairly plush, and I can imagine it would be easily scuffed up after a few wearings. The construction is typical Pleaser…good enough for play, or occasional evenings out in dimly lit clubs, and at this price, thats all you should expect. In larger sizes, it actually seemed to run a half-size bigger than expected…sizing can be a bit iffy with this class of footwear, so be forewarned. Overall, its a great value.
